“People wanting to break into the industry were coerced into this type of conduct in the promise of being made a star,” the lawyer said. All 120 lawsuits are expected to be filed within the next month in civil courts across the country, including New York, California, Georgia, and Florida.

Combs has already been facing a litany of legal trouble stemming from 11 sexual assault lawsuits and a federal investigation that resulted in several charges. The 54-year-old was arrested in New York City on September 16 and was charged with sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy, and transportation to engage in prostitution. He pleaded not guilty the next day and is currently in jail awaiting trial.

The two cases against Combs are ongoing as of March 2024.

Following another suit filed on December 6 accusing the rapper of raping a 17-year-old in 2003, Combs released a statement denying all of the allegations against him: “I did not do any of the awful things being alleged.
