Elon Musk Shares Video Of Tesla Humanoid Robot That Perform Exactly Like Human Being

American tech giant and owner of Tesla, Elon Musk, on Friday October 11 2024 shared videos of Tesla’s new humanoid robot that can perform virtually every work human being can do including cleaning house, serving drinks, teaching and babysitting kids, amongst others.

Elon Musk said the robots use everything developed for Tesla cars, including batteries, power, electronics, advanced motors, gearboxes, software and iron first computer.

Elon Musk said, “It all actually applies to a humanoid robot. It is the same techniques, It is just a robot with arms and legs instead of a robot with wheels. But we made a lot of progress with Optimus.

“And as you can clearly, we have started off with someone in a robot suit, sort of that. And we are gradually progressing dramatically everu year.

“So if you extrapolate this, you are really going to have something spectacular, something that anyone could own. You can have your own personal R2-D2, C-3PO.

“I think that scaled. This would cost something around $20,000 to $30,000, but we don’t know yet probably may lesser than a car. That is my prediction for long term. You know it take us a minute to get to the long term.

“But fundamentally, at the scale of the octopus robot, you should be able to buy an optimist robot with the sum of $20,000 to $30,000.”

On what the robot can do, Elon Musk highlighted that “It can basically do anything you want exactly like human being. It can be a teacher or babysit your kids. It can walk your dog, mow your lawn, get the groceries, just be your friend, serve drinks, whatever you can think of. It will do.

“It is going to be awesome and nice. This will be the biggest product ever of any kind.”
